The Mizuno Neo Ace CC is a tennis shoe designed to combine speed, cushioning, and lateral stability. The entire midsole uses MIZUNO ENERZY xp, providing cushioning and energy return throughout the length of the shoe.
The sole incorporates an Agility Frame, a shank structure extending from the midfoot towards the heel to reduce lateral movement during sliding. The Crouching Wall construction combines softer material on the medial side with firmer material on the lateral side of the midsole to provide additional support during lateral loading.
The D-FLEX GROOVE increases midfoot rigidity to support push-off, acceleration, and changes of direction. The outsole uses DX Rubber, which Mizuno states provides approximately 1.5 times the durability of standard DuRubber.
The upper uses controlled CPU material density to balance support, fit, and flexibility. The heel construction has also been revised to improve foot hold and comfort.
