The ASICS METARISE 2 is a volleyball shoe developed for outside and opposite hitters, with a construction focused on jumping performance, cushioning, and stability during take-off and landing.
The midsole combines FF BLAST PLUS cushioning with a highly curved forefoot design and a carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic plate. This construction provides energy return and supports vertical propulsion during jumping movements.
RISETRUSS technology stabilises the midfoot against twisting and helps transfer horizontal momentum into vertical movement. The carbon-fibre-reinforced plate distributes pressure during take-off.
The MONO-SOCK Fit System provides a sock-like fit and additional ankle support. The ENERGY LOCK SYSTEM combines a responsive mesh upper with an internal support panel to improve foot hold during jumps and lateral movements.
