The Mizuno Wave Lightning Elite is a lightweight indoor court shoe developed for fast movement and jumping. It replaces the Wave Lightning Z8 and weighs approximately 295 g per shoe (size 27.0 cm).
The new RENO WOVEN upper uses a five-layer construction to combine low weight with a secure fit. Dyna-Eyelet Wrap helps the upper wrap around the foot when the laces are tightened.
MIZUNO ENERZY NXT in the forefoot midsole provides cushioning and energy return, while the MIZUNO ENERZY xp sockliner adds cushioning without significantly increasing weight. The updated MIZUNO WAVE structure extends towards the outer forefoot to support stability during take-off and landing.
The outsole uses the new XG Rubber, which Mizuno states provides approximately 17% more grip than the previous XG rubber compound. A rounded heel construction supports transitions from heel contact into jumping movements, while Dura Shield reinforces the toe area against wear.
